Dr. Vasil Todorov, MD, graduated with honors from the Medical University of Sofia. In 2018, he specialized in neurology. In the same year, he defended his dissertation on the topic "Clinical and neurophysiological studies in patients with headache".
He is currently a senior assistant professor at the Department of Neurology at the Medical University - Sofia and head of the Department of Neurodegenerative Diseases at the Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment in Neurology and Psychiatry «St. Naum», Sofia.
His areas of specialization include headache and other pain syndromes, movement disorders, polyneuropathies, dementias, multiple sclerosis, clinical electromyography, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, modern therapies in neurological practice.
He conducts neurology training for specialists, residents and medical students in both Bulgarian and English, including training in highly specialized procedures.
Dr. Todorov is the Vice-President of the Bulgarian Headache and Pain Society and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Bulgarian scientific journal "Cefalgia". He is the author and co-author of dozens of publications in Bulgarian and international scientific journals and has participated as a lecturer in numerous neurological conferences, meetings and educational programs in Bulgaria and abroad.
