Dr. Gerganov graduated in Medicine in 1994 and began his career as a general practitioner.
He subsequently specialized in Internal Medicine, and in 2018 obtained a qualification in Homeopathy from the European Society of Homeopathy.
In 2024 he completed his specialization in Clinical Laboratory Medicine.
Since January 2, 2025, he has been Head of the Clinical and Liquorology Laboratory at St. Naum University Hospital for Neurology and Psychiatry, Sofia.
He is a member of the Bulgarian Society of Neurology and the Bulgarian Society of Clinical Laboratory Medicine.
His professional interests are focused on liquorology and modern laboratory methods for CSF analysis, including agarose electrophoresis and isoelectric focusing with immunofixation.
